New Moon
Energy:
Cast spells at this time for healing, personal growth and new projects. It
is also a good time to consecrate new tools which you plan on using during
rituals, ceremonies and festivals.
Waxing Moon
Energy ( 1st Quarter moon)
This is a good time for love spells, protection and healing spells for
couples.
Full Moon Energy
This is the time to banish the unwanted influences in your life. Make new
plans and release any old issues that have been bothering you. The best days
for casting are three days before and three days after the full moon.
Waning Moon
Energy (Last Quarter Moon)
This is the time to reject all things negative. Cleansing spells can be very
good at this time.
Dark Moon
This period occurs three days prior to the new moon. Traditionally, during
this period - no spells are cast.
*Blue Moon
This happens, when the moon, starts a second 28 day cycle in the same month.
This is a time to examine your failures and to revisit the causes of them.
Harvest
Moon
The full moon is the one that appears closest to the Mabohn festival. It is
a time to add extra protection and to call in outstanding favors.
